The Action Transportation Group is a 3rd generation family owned and operated business that currently consists of three main entities: Action Express & Hotshot, Action Trucking, and Action Pilot Car Service.

Action Express opened in 1993 as a small courier company, with only 5 drivers at the time. Through hard work and great employees Action quickly became the largest industrial courier company in Edmonton with over 85 trucks.

In 2007 Action purchased 2 tractors, a day cab and a sleeper unit. This was done to accommodate our customer’s requests of us to expand into the trucking market. That was a success and as more of our customer base realized we were in trucking the demand increased.

In August 2009 family and long time employees Michael Mayorchak and Carol Cooper purchased Action Express. One of the first decisions made was to be more aggressive in expanding into trucking. With the help and hard work of their 4 sons Action Trucking has grown to over 30 power units and 50 trailers.

Action Pilot Car Service is the newest venture of the Action Transportation Group, we are excited about it’s launch and feel the synergy it brings makes our group stronger as a whole.

Equipment is only as good as the operator, so at Action Trucking we only hire the best and most qualified professional drivers. Our dedicated team of drivers will ensure your shipment arrives on time and safely. Action Trucking trains all of our drivers in all aspects of trucking and safety. Our office staff has the same dedication as our drivers. Together we create the perfect customer service experience. To us it’s more than just a job.
